The Expert Training Courses “Industrial Boiler Efficiency Evaluation Techniques” – one of the series activities of the Project “Promotion of Energy Efficiency Industrial Boiler Adoption and Operating Practices in Vietnam” had been conducted at Hoa Binh Hotel, Hanoi within 3 days (from 9th November to 11th November 2016) and In HCMC (from 14th to 16th November 2016).
The objective of 3 days Training Course is to provide information and knowledge for national experts to evaluate energy efficiency of industrial boilers as well as to of undertake the implementation of industrial boiler energy efficiency improvement measures/solutions. Furthermore, on the course, participants also get use to measurement instruments/ tools and practical software tools in order to identify solutions/measures to improve energy efficiency of boilers. After Training Course, participants will gain those abilities/skills as below:
- Understand the method to improve energy efficiency of boiler, energy quantitative methodology and saving cost from those improvements.
- Use and operate smoothly measuring instruments/software of steam system optimization evaluation of the U.S Energy Department.
- Assess industrial boiler efficiency and identify measures/ solutions to improve energy efficiency of boiler.
Participants in the Training Course includes: energy specialist/ staff of Energy Efficiency Centers, Energy Consultation Units and some enterprises such as Hanoi Liquor Company, Sao Vang Rubber Company, Bac Ninh Diana JSC and Dong Duong Technology Investment and Importation Limited Company.
The trainers of courses including Mr Riyaz Papar – International Expert of UNIDO and Mr. Do Xuan Quang and Mr. Bui Thanh Hung from Hanoi University of Technology.
